Venerdì 3 aprile incontrerò gli studenti di Auburn University, presso la sede di Palazzo Chigi ad Ariccia, per una lezione su cultura Hip Hop e identità italiana contemporanea. Gli strumenti didattici saranno alcune canzoni e videoclip del mio repertorio, in cui ho parlato di seconde generazioni e identità, insieme a estratti dai miei libri. Sono felice di poter contribuire a una visione dell’Italia lontana dagli stereotipi.

Questo è il terzo anno consecutivo in cui vengo coinvolto e per questo ringrazio la direttrice del programma Lydia Witt e la coordinatrice del progetto Roberta Londi per la fiducia.

On Friday, April 3rd, I will meet the students of Auburn University at Palazzo Chigi in Ariccia for a lecture on Hip Hop culture and contemporary Italian identity. The teaching tools will include some songs and video clips from my repertoire, in which I have explored themes of second generations and identity, along with excerpts from my books. I’m glad to contribute to a vision of Italy that goes beyond stereotypes.

I’m glad to take part for the third consecutive year, and I would like to thank the program director Lydia Witt and the project coordinator Roberta Londi for their trust.
